Washington Interagency Telecommunications System 3 Contract
IZAR is a sub-contractor to Verizon on the WITS 3 contract.
WITS 3 is a follow on contract to the previous WITS 1 contract, which provided local telecommunications services to federal agencies in GSA's National Capital Region (NCR). Under the previous WITS contract,
over 90 federal agencies and over 795,000 federal users obtained local telecommunications services, including voice, data, internet access, technical support services and equipment. The WITS 3 contract will enable federal agencies in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area to obtain a broad range of telecommunications services including converged voice-over Internet provider (IP) services, voice and video teleconferencing services, and Internet access service as well as equipment.
