Data Center Migration/Server Consolidation
IZAR supports Verizon in its Data Center Migration Project as it pertains to migrating application and web servers from an agency Headquarters (HQ) office data center to another agency data center(s).

Tasks include the analysis of software applications hosted on disparate server hosting hardware, and providing recommendations for consolidating the applications from multiple servers into a Common Operating Environment. This effort integrates the agency IT infrastructure (equipment, maintenance, operational, and logistics support processes) with the overall consolidation effort. It provides load-balancing between mirrored primary and secondary data centers for increased survivability, common operating environment, integrated logistics support processes and the reduction of redundant skill sets by consolidating data center operations.
