The RADXP methodology helps the solution provider solve the scope-resource-time equation by fixing the time variable. RADXP works in a 90-day delivery cycle. The development team delivers something functional and tangible every 90 days. A 90-day cycle is practical for many reasons. Corporations are accustomed to 90-day reporting cycles. The period is neither too long nor too short. The period must be less than six months because the environment, especially technology, changes faster than six months. The period must be longer than six weeks or too much time is spent ramping up and/or down. The team would never get in stride.
