Quality Management
IZAR supports one of its Prime customers with quality management on several of its Federal contracts.
IZAR ensures that the customer's Program Management Team is in compliance with Government quality and security policies and procedures. IZAR provides program
management support for all efforts assigned under the specific supplier purchase order,
provides tools and techniques to facilitate completion of deliverables in the SOW,
demonstrate control of organizational conflict of interests through training and policy,
assesses and reports on quality of work on a quarterly basis and provide HR support and
industry specific support to assigned resources.
Among the key functions are:
• Ensure compliance with ISO 20000:2005 and Program Contractual requirements, produce processes
and procedures per ITIL V2 best practices that support service levels and maintain information IT
Service Management activities.
• Guide the disposition of contract deviations and/or ISO 20000:2005 non-compliances that cannot
be resolved at the Program level. Report contract and ISO 20000:2005 noncompliance to customer management.
• Supervise and train quality personnel during the corrective action and root cause analysis process
and ensure preventive action is taken and documented in SharePoint/Infopath software.
• Verify that all services are delivered as scheduled in the plans and in accordance with the procedures
detailed in the Configuration Management Plan, the Project Documents and Quality Records Work Instruction
per ISO 20000:2005.
• Evaluate the IT Service Management/Quality Assurance (QA) process for compliance with the Quality Assurance
Plan per ISO 20000:2005 and ITIL Best Practices.
• Through formal training and/or team meetings ensure ISO 20000:2005 and ITIL Best Practices procedures are
understood and used. Report on training status and identify training gaps.
Key Deliverables for this engagement are Annual Program Assessment, Quality Assurance Program Procedures,
Quality Assurance Audits and Surveillance Reports, Customer Surveys, Training Records and web accessible
portal and libraries.
Configuration Management
IZAR ensures that one of its Prime customer's Project Teams have the foundation to fully support the combined efforts
of Program Management, Quality Assurance, Engineering, Service Delivery, and Operations. Some of
the key functions include monitor and enforce configuration management processes, evaluate and
improve existing procedures, ensure organization and completeness of change management submissions,
lead the Change Management Committee meetings to review production changes and assess risks, ensure
audit testing is incorporated into daily activities and that audit issues are resolved, select and
implement automated tools to support efficiencies in process, create and analyze metrics to determine
effectiveness of process, maintain a change process IAW with the approved Change Management and
Configuration Management Plans (CMP), ensure all contract technical requirements are documented,
clear and measurable, report on contract technical requirements compliance and advise the program
management team in matters regarding technical compliance, maintain a Requirements Register, manage
the configuration baseline and control changes to that baseline, ensure all actions which impact
the SOW follow ITIL best practices, review Contract Change Requests for impact to the contract SOW
and document deviations, maintain a database of all program related forms, records and documents,
ensure the program team complies with FAR Subpart 43.102, facilitate timely requirement changes.
Key Deliverables are Configuration management Plan (CMP) (semi- annually), Document management
database using SharePoint (daily), Baselines: As-designed, As-built, and Current (quarterly),
Requirements Register (Quarterly), RFC, ECN, Work Orders (as needed), CSA Report CI register,
(quarterly), FCA, PCA Results (quarterly).
