IZAR's Legacy Web Services are designed to allow clients to take advantage of a wide range of business opportunities. Our methodology, analysts, and technologists are focused on removing the technical obstacles that limit business processes. There are numerous tasks involved in delivering a business process in the form of a Web Service. Legacy Web Services separates the tasks into two main disciplines.

The first discipline, called Strategy & Business Service Modeling, is focused on the opportunity, risks, and costs associated with Web Services. Strategy and modeling have been grouped together since they often share similar skills and concerns. The client representatives whom we collaborate with for strategy are often the same people we collaborate with when examining and modeling the Web Services processes. The business modelers take their direction from the results of the strategy sessions. By grouping the efforts of these consultants we achieve efficient transition from the strategy phase to the modeling phase.

The second discipline, called Architecture & Implementation, is focused on technical realization of the business vision. The system architecture specifies the boundaries for what is possible in Web Services. The architecture of Web Services is known as a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). Application servers, SOAP, WSDL, and java are the tools of the trade. The architecture represents how they will be arranged and located. The implementation of Web Services is the logical next step in the development process. The implementation will maximize the advantages of the SOA and limit the impact of the disadvantages.
